The Human Sciences Studio supports Accenture and its clients to deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity. We do this by helping clients unlock the human and societal problems that underlie their business challenges in provocative and impactful ways, through academic rigour and expertise in the creative arts. About The As a Researcher in the Human Sciences Studio you will be working on research and engagement broadly linked to two themes – trustworthy technology and sustainable/inclusive innovation. In line with Accenture’s commitment to delivering shared success for all broader stakeholders in innovation, your work will seek to deliver value for our clients and Accenture, people and society. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with an education and/or employment track record in behavioral science (broadly conceived).

As one of a team of Researchers, you will:

  • Support research design to answer questions that are relevant to senior decision makers, demonstrating originality in framing of research ideas and approaches

  • Conduct, document, analyze and summarize secondary research, using an array of sources from business, media and academia

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to answer client-relevant questions

  • Contribute to the development of innovative and immersive research experiences

  • Synthesize, compile and present research findings (in both verbal and written format), in a way that demonstrates both academic rigor and business relevance to Accenture and our clients

  • Actively collaborate with teammates in Human Sciences Studio and across The Dock

Set yourself apart by demonstrating a comprehensive mix of hard and soft skills including:

  • Demonstrated proficiency to conduct advanced primary and secondary research using appropriately chosen research methods.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize fragmented information from multiple sources into a coherent summary, and to develop structured communications from these syntheses.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply social science research in a business-relevant context

  • Familiarity with, and interest in, key contemporary debates relating to global economic, geopolitical, technological and social trends and issues, and their impact on organizations

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Intellectual curiosity, self-motivation and a willingness to take ownership of tasks

  • Ideally, experience working collaboratively with business / innovation / industry

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Relevant undergraduate degree in a social science e.g., Behavioral Science, Economics, Psychology, or Quantitative Sociology.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in industry-aligned research projects, or

  • A post-graduate degree.
