Ibec, the group that represents Irish business, is inviting applications for a Brand and Marketing Executive. The deadline for applications is 5th May 2024. Role Purpose: An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Brand Executive with proven editorial and communications skills and demonstrable experience in brand management, B2B content development and marketing campaigns to join our team based in Dublin and be part of Ireland’s largest and most influential business representative organisation. This role requires a creative thinker, self-motivated and organised individual who will support the Marketing Manager delivering end to end brand and marketing campaigns designed to strengthen all our brands, engage members and customers and support with revenue growth. Key Activities & Responsibilities: Brand Positioning, Value Prop & Content Development
  • To develop a deep understanding of our business, our services, our members & customers and their drivers.
  • Be a Brand Guardian and play a key part in creating brand messaging and value propositions, using your knowledge of our brands and the wider market.
  • To coordinate and help create key content marketing deliverables including corporate brochures, presentations, video scripts, campaign content, website copy, and social media content. Ensure its stays up to date.
  • Maintain a testimonial programme that includes: approval to use logos, quotes, written short case studies and where budget permits videos, segmented by service, industry, persona.
  • Ensure that all content is engaging and impactful and upholds our brand standards.
  • Support with market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
Brand management & Guardian
  • Working with our agency to maintain and enhance our brand identity and guidelines
  • Act as brand guardian ensuring brand consistency and brand guidelines are adhered to both internally and externally.
  • Help maintain and grow the catalogue of branded templates and resources, including logos, PPT, word templates, infographics, boilerplate and case studies.
  • Support with new rebranding projects, liaise with agencies and stakeholders as appropriate.
Advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Manage media partnerships plans coordinating with the wider organisation for editorial input and ensure maximum value is derived from partnerships.
  • Assist with the delivery of multichannel campaigns across, online and offline, including written content, marketing assets, partnerships marketing, and more.
  • Collaborate with various internal, external and third-party stakeholders to ensure we’re communicating compelling member messages and value propositions in the right channels.
  • Measure and analyse campaigns results (impressions, click thru, downloads, feedback)
Agency management
  • Liaise with and review works from external agencies and consultants e.g. design, web, media buying, photography etc…
Teamwork & stakeholder engagement
  • Work closely with a variety of internal teams and external stakeholders in order to successfully deliver projects from initial brief to final analysis.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure marketing efforts are coordinated and aligned with the companys overall goals.

Person Specification: Qualifications/Skills/Experience
  • Relevant business or marketing third level qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B marketing
  • Well-versed in digital marketing best practices
  • Ability to produce compelling B2B written content and messaging
  • Innovative marketing thinker. A passion for cutting edge creative and innovation and the ability to brief and push for great ideas
  • Experience creating brand awareness
  • Proven strength in use of initiative and proven problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge of CMS systems would be of advantage
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving team player.
  • Results focused with a measured approach.
