An opportunity has now arisen to shape the Digital Transformation roadmap and lead the Digital Product team. This role will also assist the Group achieve its strategic objectives and transformation agenda.
Reporting to the Directory of Digital & Strategic Transformation in Everyday Banking The Head of Everyday Banking Digital Channels is responsible for owning the vision, defining the outcomes and prioritise the focus of the value stream to deliver against these outcomes.
In this role you will :- Take overall accountability for all Consumer Digital Channels change and associated outcomes. Drives maximum value from change activities.
- Shape and communicate the product vision and strategy for the Consumer Digital Channels value stream across the organisation.
- Work to develop the teams and ensure they have the skills, experience and tools to build their careers. Provide direction to the Delivery Lead (Change) and the Technical Lead (Technology).
- Act as theVoice of customer.
- Represent the value stream in the governance process and be accountable for 1st Line Risk of Change.
- People Management, leadership and management skills, influencing and relationship building multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix organisation structure.
- Extensive experience developing business cases, programme plans, handling multi-million EUR programme budgets and implementation strategies.
- Understanding of the banking market or a broad base of experience in the financial services arena.
- Effective management of internal and external stakeholder across a complex organisational structure.
- Ability to lead the delivery risks and the controls in place to mitigate those risks.
- Prioritise and make difficult decisions and deal with senior managers.
- Credibility and confidence working at most senior levels in the organisation; including C-suite executives.
- Degree or postgraduate level qualification.
The Consumer Digital Channel Value stream functions to enable Bank of Ireland to deliver Change more effectively. Value streams encourage ownership, collaboration and a focus on outcomes. They will paly an integral part to drive this by bringing together Change. Business and Technology capabilities and have the accountable autonomy to adjust the delivery roadmap and in Value Stream budget allocations providing they meet their objectives.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
