What is the opportunity?
The role is central to the financial risk management within the company. The role holder will be expected to work with other members of the risk function and the wider areas of the business to ensure the successful delivery of a range of risk and capital related processes throughout the business.
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with the Head of Financial Risk and the CRO to help identify potential financial risk exposure and work with the business to support risk management policies and mitigation.
- Develop and implement the Risk Management Framework
- Deliver independent oversight and challenge over financial and insurance risks and strategy.
- Provide ongoing support of the risk functions operating plan and in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Input into the development and management of ORSA process
What will make you stand out?
The role holder will have previous insurance or financial services industry experience, ideally within a current or previous relevant risk management role. Strong technical skills, including both financial modelling and reporting experience. Excellent understanding of the local and European regulatory environment incl. Solvency II. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A proven ability to work effectively with, and constructively challenge and influence the actions of partners up to and including Board level. Effective leadership and team working skills.
Essential Qualifications
Qualified or near-qualified actuary or equivalent risk management qualification, with practical experience of working with actuarial models and techniques.

This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in person collaboration exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
