Purpose of this role
We are seeking an energetic candidate to join the Irish Management Institute (IMI) as an HR Coordinator. In this role, you will actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement of HR processes and play a crucial part in supporting our comprehensive HR function. As a HR Coordinator, you will engage in a range of diverse HR tasks and projects, covering the full spectrum of HR responsibilities at a coordination level. Reporting to the Human Resource Business Partner, this position provides an exciting opportunity for someone starting their HR career to develop, contribute to continuous improvement and make a substantial impact within the dynamic environment in the Irish Management Institute.
This is a 4-day week role.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
- Assist in job postings, candidate sourcing, and resume screening.
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to schedule interviews and maintain applicant tracking system.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding sessions and assist in the onboarding process.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and ensure completion of necessary documentation.
- Conduct exit interviews and facilitate offboarding procedures.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with benefits enrolment, changes, and inquiries.
- Coordinate with benefit providers and ensure accurate and timely administration of benefits.
- Assist in organising employee wellness programs and initiatives.
HR Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date on local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Support HR audits and maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
Work Location and Virtual Work:This role is based at IMIs headquarters in Dublin.
IMI recognises the importance of flexible work arrangements and promotes a hybrid work model that combines in-person and virtual work. The employee has the flexibility to work remotely for a part of their working hours, subject to operational requirements and the agreement of their line manager as outlined in the Hybrid and Flexible working policy.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (CIPD Qualification preferred).
- Previous experience in an HR support role or administrative position preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of GDPR legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
- Understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
